Due to the high altitude of 2,872 meters the season lasts from end of November until beginning of May with perfect snow conditions. Together with the Swiss part, Samnaun, it is the third biggest ski resort in Tyrol.
From the beginner, over the intermediate skier / snowboarder to expert level, everyone will find several slopes. Several freeride runs and a lot of options for ski touring will also keep experts busy. An overview of the ski area is here.
For families there is a special area for kids and several highlights within the ski area. After skiing, you can also go sledge, go for a swim or enjoy the various winter paths around Ischgl and the Paznaun valley. Several play grounds in Ischgl will ensure that the kids are not bored.
